Investigators reported that Kortni was driving a 2020 Toyota Camry when it collided head-on with a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. Following the impact, the Camry caught fire, and despite the efforts of emergency responders, Kortni was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities said the four occupants of the Nissan Pathfinder—including the driver, an adult passenger, and two young children—sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for medical treatment. State troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
