The Waco, Texas, community is mourning the tragic loss of Victor Jesus Silva-Delgadillo, 28, who died following a shooting Sunday evening.
According to authorities, Victor and another 19-year-old man, who is expected to recover, were found suffering from gunshot injuries in the 3600 block of N. 20th Street at approximately 5:02 p.m. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, where Victor later succumbed to his injuries.
News of Victor’s death has left family, friends, and loved ones grieving the sudden loss of a life taken far too soon. Those who knew him are now remembering the person he was, the relationships he built, and the memories he leaves behind.
The shooting has also brought concern throughout the Waco community as authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In connection with the shooting, Brayan Hernandez, 18, and Leonardo Jesús Servin, 20, were arrested and charged. Authorities continue working to gather information and determine the events that led to the deadly confrontation.
