The Seneca, South Carolina community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Geovany “Geo” Noel Campos-Isidro, who passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Hospital following a courageous and lengthy battle with leukemia. He was 15 years old.
A lifelong resident of Seneca, Geo was the beloved son of Victor Manuel Campos Aranda and Susana Isidro Castro. Although his life was far too short, he made a lasting impact on his family, friends, classmates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him through his kindness, strength, resilience, and generous spirit.
Geo was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and was preparing to begin his sophomore year at Seneca High School. He embraced his school community with enthusiasm and positivity, especially through his love of music. As an active participant in both the school’s chorus and band programs, Geo found joy in performing, expressing himself, and sharing his talents with others.
Those who knew Geo remember him as a young man who faced challenges with remarkable courage and determination. Throughout his battle with leukemia, he continued to inspire those around him with his strength, optimism, and willingness to bring kindness and encouragement to others.
Beyond his musical talents, Geo was cherished for his caring personality and the warmth he brought into every room. His ability to connect with people, offer friendship, and brighten the lives of others made him a treasured member of the Seneca community.
Geo’s passing has left a deep void among his family, friends, classmates, teachers, and all who followed his journey. While his time on earth was brief, the memories he created and the lives he touched will continue to be remembered.
