According to the North Dakota State Patrol, a serious head-on collision involved Devin Moritz, 23, of McHenry, and Wyatt Ellingson, 54, of Edgeley, after both vehicles collided on a roadway in North Dakota.
Investigators reported that Moritz was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a 2019 GMC Sierra traveling southbound and driven by Ellingson. The impact resulted in a severe collision involving both pickup trucks.
Authorities said that both Moritz and Ellingson were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Emergency responders were called to the scene and worked to assist those involved while officials began investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
