The Wellsville community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Ashley Robichaud, 38, and her 6-year-old daughter, Emersyn E. Robichaud, who were killed in a tragic ATV crash.
According to authorities, the devastating incident occurred while Ashley was operating a 2003 Polaris Trail Boss four-wheeler with her two children in a pasture area. The family was traveling along a fence line when the ATV overturned after reaching the lowest point of elevation in the field.
Investigators said the vehicle pinned Ashley and Emersyn underneath after the rollover. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but both Ashley and her young daughter were tragically killed.
