According to investigators, the crash occurred at approximately 9:48 a.m. near County Road 1200 East, where road construction was underway. Officials said Cunningham was stopped in her Toyota Scion for an INDOT flagger when her vehicle was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Silverado.
Emergency responders were called to the scene following the collision, but Cunningham suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
