The community is mourning the tragic loss of Zoltan Cserni, 49, of Highland Village, Texas, who passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, following a motorcycle crash in Coppell.
Cserni was riding his 2010 KTM motorcycle southbound on North Denton Tap Road near the intersection with Sandy Lake Road when he was involved in a collision with a 2022 gray Hyundai SUV making a left turn from the northbound side. He was immediately transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating with investigators. Authorities from the Coppell Police Department Traffic Division and a combined accident reconstruction team continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Zoltan Cserni is remembered by family, friends, and the Highland Village community as a kind and vibrant individual. His passing leaves a profound void among all who knew him.
Funeral arrangements will be shared by the family at a later date.
