The Conroe Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning, claiming the life of 28-year-old Jordan McDonald, a City of Conroe resident.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on March 25, 2026, at approximately 5:38 a.m., in the 1500 block of North San Jacinto Street. Officers responded to reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash and found the driver ejected from the motorcycle, showing no signs of life. Medical personnel from Montgomery County Hospital District EMS arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced McDonald deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation by the Conroe Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit revealed that the motorcycle was traveling southbound in the 1500 block of North San Jacinto Street. As it approached the intersection of N. San Jacinto Street and W. Semands, the driver failed to negotiate a curving section of the roadway, lost control, and struck the curb on the south side of the intersection. The crash caused McDonald to be ejected, resulting in fatal injuries.
Investigators are examining the exact timeframe and circumstances of the crash as part of an ongoing investigation. Notification has been made to McDonald’s next of kin.
