Brian Doyle Medlin Motorcycle Accident: Motorcyclist Brian Doyle Medlin Dies in Late-Night Crash on Tubbs Mountain Road

Authorities are investigating a tragic single-vehicle motorcycle crash that claimed the life of Brian Doyle Medlin, 45, of Travelers Rest, on Thursday night, March 26, 2026.

The incident occurred along the 1200 block of Tubbs Mountain Road. Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 9:50 p.m. after reports of a motorcycle leaving the roadway.

Preliminary information indicates that Medlin, who was wearing a helmet, lost control of the motorcycle and struck a tree. He was pronounced deceased at the scene around 10:24 p.m.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Medlin died from blunt force trauma, and his death has been ruled an accident. An external examination has been conducted, and additional review remains pending.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol and Greenville County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
