A tragic shooting on West Shelby Drive Sunday left one man dead and two others injured, authorities say.
Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded shortly after 5 p.m. to reports of gunfire near Shelby Drive and Neely Road. Upon arrival, officers found three men who had been shot. Two of the victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition, while another was taken for treatment in non-critical condition. One of the men, identified as Tevon (Aob YntVon), later died at the hospital.
Investigators say video footage showed the suspects were in a silver Dodge Dart. The vehicle was later located abandoned at Howard Drive and Stacey Road around 6 p.m.
