The Forest Park Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Monday morning. At approximately 2:00 a.m., officers and emergency personnel responded to reports of gunfire and a crash at the intersection of Bartlett Road and Watts Road.
Authorities found a BMW 530i crashed into a tree, with the driver, 36-year-old Shaunterrio Hudson, suffering from a gunshot wound. Hudson was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he was driving on Watts Road when someone fired shots through the driver’s side window, causing him to crash.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta or the Forest Park Police Department.
No arrests have been reported at this time, and the case remains under active investigation.
