According to Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred around 2:00 p.m. when a Ford Bronco driven by James Jobe was struck on the driver’s side by a semi-truck driven by 55-year-old Lester Jones, who was traveling eastbound on Green Street.
Officials say James Jobe was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. His passenger, 21-year-old Jason Jobe, was transported to a hospital in Evansville in stable condition.
