Authorities have confirmed that the body of Marly Kinney, an Ashland native, was discovered Sunday afternoon near the Grayson Lake area, five days after she was reported missing.
According to officials, multiple law enforcement and emergency response agencies located Kinney’s body at approximately 3:45 p.m. Sunday during an extensive search in the Grayson area. She had been the subject of a multi-day search effort after her disappearance was reported earlier in the week.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding her death. The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to determine what led to the tragic incident.
