The Franklin and Bishop Feehan High School communities are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Oliver Lewis, a 15-year-old student who died after a bicycle accident in Franklin, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon. His sudden passing has left classmates, teachers, family members, and residents grieving the loss of a young life filled with promise.
According to the Franklin Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. near King Street and the Interstate 495 North off-ramp. Emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting that a juvenile bicyclist had been struck by a vehicle. Officers, firefighters, and paramedics immediately provided emergency medical care before Oliver was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center. Despite lifesaving efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
