Family members, friends, and the wider Mansfield community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jaiden Pacheco, age 20, who passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. His sudden death has left loved ones devastated, remembering him as a young man whose kindness, warmth, and vibrant personality touched many lives.
Jaiden was a graduate of Windham High School and was employed by Santor Electrical Contractors, LLC. Outside of work, he was known for enjoying life’s simple pleasures, including video games, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Those who knew Jaiden describe him as a fun-loving, compassionate, and genuine young man with an infectious smile and a natural ability to bring laughter into any room. His presence was often described as uplifting, and his caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Though his life was tragically short, the memories he created continue to bring comfort to those grieving his loss.
Jaiden is survived by his parents; brothers Ramon Pacheco Jr. and Neftali Ortiz Jr.; sister Vida Pacheco; niece Adriana Pacheco; stepfather Ryan Santor; stepmother Anamary Pacheco; stepsister Maryana Torres; stepbrother Antonio Torres; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; his girlfriend Angelica Santor Fabian; and many extended family members and close friends who will deeply miss him.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 120 Church, 120 Union St, Willimantic. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at New Willimantic Cemetery.
As the community reflects on his passing, Jaiden is being remembered for his bright spirit, kindness, and the joy he brought into the lives of others. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
