A deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Gaffney has claimed the life of 40-year-old Prentiss Deshun Hollaway, according to local authorities.
Coroner Fowler said Hollaway and another man were reportedly involved in an argument in the apartment complex parking lot before the confrontation escalated into gunfire. Investigators said multiple shots were fired during the dispute, and Hollaway was struck several times.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, where Hollaway was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead.
