According to authorities, the incident occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, July 23, 2026, near Crabb Road in Bedford Township. Investigators reported that Kevin was walking northbound along the eastern shoulder of South Telegraph Road when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
A driver later discovered Kevin lying near the roadway and contacted emergency responders at approximately 1:28 a.m. When deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene, Kevin was found deceased.
An autopsy conducted by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office determined that Kevin died from severe blunt force trauma caused by the impact of a motor vehicle. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and are working to identify the driver involved.
