A tragic motorcycle crash at an intersection in Marlborough, Connecticut, has claimed the life of John Forbes after a collision involving a Chevrolet Silverado on Monday evening.
According to authorities, Forbes was operating his motorcycle eastbound on Route 66 when the crash occurred. Investigators said he was traveling behind a Chevrolet Silverado when the driver of the pickup truck began making a left turn at the intersection.
Officials reported that Forbes attempted to pass the Silverado on the left side as the vehicle was turning, causing the motorcycle to collide with the front left portion of the pickup truck. The impact resulted in a serious crash, and emergency responders were called to the scene.
Despite emergency efforts, Forbes suffered fatal injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine the events that led up to the crash.
