A three-vehicle crash on Sam Houston Drive in Victoria, Texas, Tuesday evening left one person dead and two others seriously injured, according to authorities.
The collision occurred at approximately 7 p.m. near the intersection of Sam Houston Drive and Lilac Lane, where Victoria police and fire crews responded to the scene. The crash forced the closure of the roadway for several hours as emergency personnel assisted those involved and investigators worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to police, 22-year-old Cantu was driving a truck in the 3800 block of Sam Houston Drive when his vehicle collided with an SUV driven by 26-year-old Terrence Cubit.
