The Milligan University community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Haylan Engdahl, a sophomore and member of the university’s cycling team who was killed Wednesday morning in a serious accident involving a vehicle in Hampton, Tennessee.
Milligan University confirmed that Engdahl and fellow sophomore Brayden Rodgers died in the crash while members of the cycling team were riding. The collision occurred in the Hampton area and also left multiple other Milligan cyclists seriously injured, with those individuals receiving medical treatment at Johnson City Medical Center.
