The Whitehouse, Ohio community is mourning the tragic loss of Nacole Bartolet, 20, who died Monday afternoon following a devastating two-vehicle collision in Ballville Township, Ohio.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 53 and involved a Saturn traveling northbound on State Route 53 and a GMC traveling southbound.
Investigators said the Saturn was being driven by a 23-year-old man from Seville who attempted to make a left turn at the intersection. Authorities reported that the vehicle failed to yield while turning and entered the path of the southbound GMC, resulting in a serious collision.
Nacole was a passenger in the Saturn and suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only reported fatality from the crash.
